Rooted in her own lived experience, Ebony created Healing Not Hurting as a space for people—especially in the Black community—to reclaim what trauma tried to take: identity, purpose, peace, and power.
What makes this movement different is that it speaks to every part of the person. Under Ebony’s leadership, it now reaches hearts through healing-centered apparel, minds through a teen SEL curriculum, and whole communities through the nonprofit Healing Not Hurting Detroit.
Her mission is clear: to make healing a lifestyle, not a luxury. And this is only the beginning.
